How to make latte art at home without coffee machine

A good latte art doesn’t make coffee taste any better, although it does tell the people that you have put time and effort in it, which gives an aesthetic appeal to one’s customer/guest. Here are the easy steps to do so at home without any coffee machine:

Step 1:

Creating Microfoam is the most important thing to take care of while making latte art

To create microfoam milk, you will need the following:
  • 1 cup of milk, put it in a microwave-safe glass (you may use a measuring glass pitcher)

  • A milk frother (optional) or a Jar

  • Stainless Steel Pitcher( if you don’t have it it’s ok)

Step 2:

Heating the milk
  • We need to heat the milk before frothing it. When using a steamer, cold milk is used and you do the frothing and the heating together.

  • Make sure its not too hot, it won’t make foam then, if it is too cold it will be too foamy (keep the temp. between 60-70°C)

  • Using a microwave: First heat the milk for 50secs, wait for 3 mins,  then heat for  20 secs, wait 3 mins, then heat for another 20 secs, wait for 3 minutes and heat for a last 20 seconds.
